Our 4 pillars for a sustainable future
1. Avoid single-use plastic
On average, a single IRISgo® cup replaces 34 disposable cups per year. If the IRISgo® cup is used optimally, more than 100 disposable cups can be saved over its entire lifetime.
However, the development of this innovative and unique reusable cup marks only the beginning of a path to a more sustainable future.
2. Clean the environment
By removing 10 plastic bottles from the sea with every IRISgo® product sold, we help protect and preserve the threatened habitat of marine and coastal animals. In collaboration with #TIDE, we are actively committed to reducing the effects of plastic pollution. and promote the circular economy of plastics.
3. Recycle plastic waste
In the future, we aim to close the plastic cycle by integrating plastic waste from the oceans and coasts into our products.
Together with our partners and #TIDE, we are already investigating promising approaches to give waste a sustainable second life.
4. Social commitment
Local collectors are fairly compensated for collecting plastic waste. This creates opportunities and leads to a sustainable economic base for the local community.
We also support various social projects in Mozambique that provide well systems to give people there access to clean drinking water.
