So, I had plenty coffee cups and bottles in my life. I took a break and got my iced coffee outside, but it’s expensive and unsustainable. So I decided to get a new one. It survived like obe month until it smelled worse every day ever tho I cleaned it regularly. I tried citron and baking powder and all these things. The place where the molding happened was not even fully reachable without breaking the whole thing. This wasnt a chaep cup, it was a branded decent cup. I had enough. I saw this iriscup in a store and bought it, even tho it aint cheap. And I‘m happy I did. No more taking apart and cleaning every single piece, carefully drying everything and hoping it will cone together okay again. Just one opening, esy to clean, no smell, no fear of ruining it it I forget to clean it for one evening. I bought the metal one to prevent chipping and got two pink caps, the active and the rush. So I have a pink cup that cant chip. And I‘m satisfied. Yes, the opening looks funny and its quite pricey, but it saves me the frustration of throwing cups regularly coz of smell and mold. Sustainible cups stop being sustainable if you have to replace them all the time.
